WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT CONNOR

Praise for Pride & Prejudice
“Connor Konz takes a part that’s been done by A-listers like Alan Cumming and makes it his own: he could hardly be smarmier or more self-satisfied or more ludicrous.”
-Dueling Critics: A podcast from critics Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel

Praise for BadFic Love
“The audience comes to embrace the healing properties of storytelling, imagination and fiction as the story unravels, along with the relationships, leaving us all feeling stronger as Draco and Malfoy (played hilariously and sweetly by Jake Szczepaniak and Connor Konz) discover the true terror and lightness of being unfettered from the narrative.”
        -Kim Campbell, Gaper’s Block

“However, it’s Connor Konz and Jake Szczepaniak as Harry and Draco, who are the real standouts in this production. These two young actors are committed to their characters. The actors’ over-the-top, hilarious portrayals make the much-awaited Harry Potter scenes the highlight of this play. Often, editorially expressing surprise at their own dialogue and actions, Konz and Szczepaniak are especially terrific, together offering the strongest reason to see this production.”
        -Colin Douglas, Chicago Theatre Review

“Strong performances by Fowler, Hunter, and Konz, who is both more convincing and more likable as Harry Potter than Daniel Radcliffe (though he could be Radcliffe’s twin)”
